What if I lived in Enoughtown?
Enough is not a someplace you arrive at; it’s someplace you come from.
Carl Richards
What if I lived in a place where everyone, including me, knew, all the time, that they were enough?
No matter what they accomplished or what decisions they made, they were enough.
Would knowing that I “had enough” change how I worked? What would change if there wasn’t a fear of judgment from myself or others?
Would I stop cleaning my house? No, I want a clean house.
Would I stop serving clients? No, I love to be of service.
What I would stop doing is judging and evaluating myself to some phantom standard!
Where are the “enough police?” Who’s voice is telling us we’re not enough?
Just for today, could you move to Enoughtown?
