Making your 2026 plans inevitable.
I am guessing you have some big plans for 2026.
You may be aiming to grow your business, launch a new service, or finally land that next-level role. I have been there. In the past, when I wanted to reach a big milestone, I would set aggressive goals—deadlines, targets, the whole bit. And when I inevitably hit a wall? I would double down, set even bigger goals, and try to out-hustle my own exhaustion.
Lately, I have been trying something different. I have realized that those external results we all want happen with ease once an internal shift is real. When I stopped chasing outcomes and started focusing on becoming the person capable of achieving them, the results didn’t just happen—they followed.
Here is how I am living that in 2026. It is not about adding one more thing to a crowded to-do list. It is about building a foundation that makes everything else feel easier. I am focusing on four things: sleep, movement, gratitude, and presence.
- Sleep first. I have found that if my sleep is lacking, so is my clarity, energy, and creativity. I am not chasing “productivity” anymore; I am protecting my rest. When my mind is clear, the work flows. When it is not, I am just pushing the river.
- Move daily. This isn’t about a “workout” or a gym routine. It is just about moving—swimming, walking, stretching. It produces endorphins, sure, but the real value is the commitment. Every day, I choose myself first. That one choice makes every other decision in the day feel lighter.
- Find the gratitude. I am saying “thank you” more often to my family, my team, and my clients. When I live from a place of gratitude, I start seeing small wins throughout the day: a kind email, a quiet moment, a problem solved. Instead of fighting my way through the day, I find ease.
- Be here now. No multitasking. No scanning the inbox while I am on a call. When I am truly present and focused on one thing at a time, problems get resolved fully. And resolved issues don’t come back to haunt me. Plus, when I am fully present, I am never bored because I never know what will happen next.
I am not tackling all four of these at once. That is a recipe for constantly feeling like I’m failing.
I start with sleep. When that feels steady, I add movement. Then gratitude. Then presence. It is like a snowball rolling downhill; once you get that first layer right, the rest starts to take care of itself. That is how I am becoming the person for whom results are inevitable.
So, I have an invitation for you:
