The whisper you can’t ignore
“Wake up Neo…”
When those words appear on Neo’s screen, everything changes.

Neo would have ignored all of this, except for one fact. He was looking for a wake-up call. He’d been searching, digging for answers. Something was drawing him, something that wouldn’t let go.
What are you looking for
This story is universal, which is what makes it powerful.
We all have answers we’re looking for. We’ve all felt that knock on our door and wondered, should I follow this white rabbit? But I have to get up for work in the morning. It’s inconvenient, the messenger is untrustworthy, and in truth, I’m scared.
But on the other side of that door? New possibilities, different approaches, a challenge, an opportunity.
Leaders like you have a lot “in motion.” Maybe the tools that created your current success are losing their edge, and the way forward isn’t clear. At the same time, you’ve changed. Perhaps you want something different for yourself too.
I know this is a lot to ask, but if you are in a place where you can pause for a minute. Close your eyes and ask yourself,
“What answer am I looking for? What’s been knocking that I’ve been ignoring?“
What would scare me if I answered?
The beginning of transformation
Transformation begins with a whisper. Something is pulling at you. Something you have been ignoring that just won’t go away. Until one day you open the door.
“But I’m busy, I don’t have time for this. It’s crazy. This is never going to change!”
Even when that whisper is an offer to take you away from that very same “busyness,” getting there requires walking away from something familiar, something safe, and finding a new path.
When I’m with clients in those moments, they tell me about two distinct voices. One voice that is full of hope, urging them on, rooting for what could be. But there’s another voice, full of examples of past failures, regrets, and fears, reminding them of the danger involved in opening the door.
Which voice do you want to follow?

Your turn: What’s the whisper?
I’m genuinely curious: What’s been knocking for you lately? What’s that whisper of transformation trying to tell you?
Just hit reply and let me know. I read every email.
