Too many agency founders have drunk the 24/7 hustle culture Kool-Aid.
“We’re in a service business, we need to be there to serve our clients! This is what agency life is like, it’s not a 9-to-5 job.”
You’ve heard it, maybe you’ve lived it! I’m thinking that might be why so many of you responded to my emails over the last week about how to make #agencylife into a game, one that produces great work makes good money, and that we can experience as light, easy, and fun!
But before I go too much further with this I want to ask you for a favor.
Who do you know that needs to hear this?
Would you be willing to stop for a minute and think about the other agency and expert firm owners that you know?
Are there folks that are talented, do great work for their clients, have the drive and resiliency to succeed, but are stuck in the grind? Agencies you admire, but that haven’t quite broken through and had the success that you think they deserve.
Would you forward them this email?
I know it’s risky, and they may take it the wrong way, but I can’t stand to let folks grind away and see their talent fail to make the impact that it deserves. The world needs their help – and it’s my hope that the next couple of weeks’ worth of emails is going to open some eyes and set some folks free.
If this was forwarded to you
The person who sent it sees your talent and your hard work and they want you to succeed – without the struggle. Sign up to receive these emails for the next couple of weeks. If it’s not for you unsubscribe, no worries.
Thanks for your help everyone! On Saturday we’ll talk about the allure of the grind.
